About us
Our team represents 20+ years of leadership in government, academia, private and non-profit sectors.
Dr. Gyami Shrestha is the Founder & CEO of Carboneers LLC. She is a senior earth systems leader with over 20 years of experience spanning science, policy, and data-driven strategy. Previously, she led the interagency U.S. Carbon Cycle Science Program Office under the auspices of a White House National Coordination Office, supporting multi-agency earth system science priorities, policies and coordinated funding for 11 years. She also served as a National Program Leader at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, overseeing investments in data science, artificial intelligence and emerging tech, including societal impacts.
